OVERMATCH

Privacy Policy

Overmatch (“we”) is an unofficial World of Tanks replay-analytics tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Wargaming.net.

What we collect

  • Wargaming account: when you sign in via Wargaming OpenID we receive and store your Wargaming account ID and nickname. We never see or store your Wargaming password or email address.
  • Replays you upload: the .wotreplay files you upload and the battle statistics we derive from them, stored against your account.
  • Session: a signed, http-only cookie so you stay logged in.

Free highlight without an account

Logged-out uploads: we process the finished .wotreplay, its derived battle data, real in-game nicknames and clan tags, and limited connection information needed to enforce the one-free-highlight limit and protect the service from abuse.

Unlisted public sharing

When you request rendering, Overmatch creates an unlisted public link. Anyone with the link can view the video, full battle results, 2D replay, vehicles, statistics, real nicknames, and clan tags. Anonymous highlights do not appear in the public highlight feed.

How and why we use it

We use account, replay, and limited technical data to provide the analytics, coaching, rendering, and sharing you request, prevent repeated use of the free service, and protect Overmatch from abuse. We do not sell your data or share it with advertising networks.

Data source

Game data is provided by Wargaming.net. © Wargaming.net. All rights reserved.

Retention & deletion

Signed-in account data is kept while the account is active and is deleted on a verified account-deletion request.

  • A logged-out replay, its unlisted link, derived battle rows, browser job access, and render artifacts expire seven days after upload and are then deleted by automated cleanup.
  • A minimal record of free-highlight use is retained after seven days, without automatic expiry, to enforce the lifetime free-highlight limit and count anonymous generations. It does not retain the replay or public link and is deleted on a verified erasure request.
  • Rotating backups may retain deleted data for up to seven additional days before they expire.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion and, where applicable, object to or restrict processing. Email [email protected]. For a logged-out highlight, include the replay nickname and unlisted link if available so we can locate it without collecting more data.
